How the Foundation makes grants
The Foundation operates three standing grant programmes plus a small reserve for emergent need. Awards are made by the Programme Committee, ratified at the next quarterly board meeting, and reported in the annual report.
- Tinker Scholars — full tuition for qualifying Native American students entering U.S. service academies, ROTC, or undergraduate aeronautics / engineering / applied science.
- Wazhazhe Archive — recording, transcription, and digitisation of Wah-Zha-Zhe language materials; in cooperation with the Osage Nation Museum and the Daposka Ahnkodapi language school.
- Heritage Fund — capital grants to historical-preservation projects on the Osage Reservation, with priority for Nation-coordinated work.
- Reserve. A small standing reserve for emergent need; not RFP-driven. Inquiries through the Heritage & Memorial Committee.

What we will not fund
Sectarian religious programming. Partisan political activity. Litigation. For-profit ventures. Projects that depict, license, or commercialise ceremonial regalia, songs, dances, or sacred materials without the express consent of the Nation. Any project our compliance committee or general counsel will not put a name to in writing.
Public ledger
A consolidated public ledger of every grant made by the Foundation since standing — including award size, recipient, programme, and outcome — is maintained on chain at osage.network for verification.
